Sandro (Giga Datiashvili) is a depressed writer struggling through a failing, troubled marriage and deep creative block. Seeking escape and perspective, he leaves the city behind for his quiet, childhood countryside home to reflect on his past and decide his future. However, his isolation is broken when he meets Sesili (Anastasia Chanturaia), a younger local woman. As their paths cross, Sandro crosses marital lines into a passionate affair with her—a romance that forces him to face both his past mistakes and the disintegrating state of his marriage back home.
