Following a deeply traumatic incident on the job, police officer Nina Richter (Cornelia Gröschel) escapes to the exclusive North Sea island of Sylt for a much-needed mental health break, staying at a luxury villa owned by prominent publisher Hedi von Carlsberg. Initially regretful that her husband Patrick (Franz Dinda) couldn't join her, Nina’s isolated retreat is completely turned upside down when she meets a charming, wealthy stranger named Daniel Bernasconi (Artjom Gilz). Caught up in intense, irresistible physical attraction and deep emotional vulnerability, Nina completely surrenders herself to a passionate extramarital affair, temporarily forgetting her life and marriage back home.
