Arlete (Camila Queiroz), a naive teenager from a small town, moves to São Paulo with her mother Carolina (Drica Moraes) dreaming of a modeling career. Signing with Fanny Richard's (Marieta Severo) agency, Arlete takes the stage name "Angel" and is lured into the "pink book"—a hidden prostitution ring for wealthy clients. She meets Alexandre "Alex" Ticiano (Rodrigo Lombardi), a ruthless, powerful tycoon who becomes dangerously obsessed with her.
