Verbotenes Verlangen is a 2000 German TV drama directed by Zoltan Spirandelli and starring a young Matthias Schweighöfer, in which Katharina Kramer — a happily married Berlin teacher with two children and a devoted architect husband Ulrich — becomes increasingly drawn to Ben, a rebellious but strikingly intelligent and emotionally mature 16-year-old new student.
