Separated father David (Barry Ward) takes his two teenage children, Klára (Dexter Franc) and Theo (Antonín Chmela), on an Adriatic summer vacation to repair their fractured family bonds. Klára, who suffers from severe anorexia, brightens when she meets Denis (Timon Šturbej), the bad-boy son of a local fish merchant, and begins a passionate holiday romance with him. However, when Denis is suddenly arrested as a suspect in his father's murder, David panic-rushes the kids back home. Klára's eating disorder spirals into a life-threatening hospital crisis due to the separation, driving her separated parents to impersonate Denis over text messages to keep her alive.
