Cristi (Vlad Ivanov) is a corrupt Bucharest police officer who plays both sides of the law, assisting a mob operation led by Zsolt (Sabin Tambrea) to launder millions of Euros. To orchestrate a high-stakes prison break for Zsolt, Cristi travels to the Canary Island of La Gomera under the guidance of the alluring femme fatale Gilda (Catrinel Marlon). There, he is forced to learn "El Silbo," an ancient local whistled language, in order to communicate secretly with the gang and evade surveillance by his sharp superior, Magda (Rodica Lazar). As double-crosses and sting operations multiply, Cristi and Gilda navigate a treacherous web of deceit where romantic attraction, law enforcement traps, and criminal loyalties collide.
