Set on a secluded island in the Finnish archipelago against the backdrop of a global pandemic, Elli (Inka Kallén) lives a tranquil life alongside her pastor husband, Mikko (Aku Hirviniemi). Their quiet domestic existence is disrupted when Mikko's old university friend, Olavi (Andrei Alén)—who also happens to be Elli's intense past romantic interest—arrives for an extended stay. Olavi's presence rekindles suppressed passions and desires in Elli, causing her to question her marital boundaries and personal freedom. As a secret, passionate extramarital affair develops between Elli and Olavi right under Mikko's roof, Elli finds herself torn between her duty as a wife and her raw, instinctual desires.
