Eduardo, known as "Dodo" (Francesco Casale), is a passive French literature professor in Rome whose life spirals into voyeurism after his elusive wife, Silvia (Katarina Vasilissa), suddenly leaves him. Confused and desperate to understand her departure, Dodo moves into the apartment of his bedridden, sexually domineering father, Alberto (Franco Branciaroli). As Dodo observes the candid sexual exploits of those around him—including his father's nurse Fausta (Cristina Garavaglia) and his own university students—he obsessively tries to uncover the identity of Silvia's secret lover, eventually discovering a unsettling connection within his own home.
