Alex (Richard Clement Haber), a museum guard, lives with his girlfriend Nicole (Nicole Auberger). When Nicole meets Kristina (Mika’Ela Fisher), Kristina becomes intensely obsessed and enamored with her. Desperate to claim Nicole for herself, Kristina enlists Marc (Pierre Heitz), an intellectual playboy who manipulates Nicole by preaching about the "love virus" and the futility of romance. After Marc is mysteriously murdered, Kristina is arrested as the prime suspect and placed in a psychiatric facility. There, a young psychiatrist named Catherine (Anna Bielska) interrogates her, but Kristina gradually turns the tables, unraveling Catherine's own repressed sexual desires.
