Set in Chicago, the series follows two best friends, Lizzie (Sally Golan) and Sam (Rebecca Blumhagen), who create a rulebook ("The Depravity Rules") designed to protect them from heartbreak, emotional vulnerability, and romantic commitment. Rules like "The 5-Minute Rule" or "The Clean Slate" govern their casual sexual encounters, dating habits, and relationship strategies.
