Jack Neitsche (Nick Cassavetes), a hardened ex-con turned insurance investigator, is hired by his boss, Ted Quincy (Matt Roe), to track down Quincy's ex-lover, Roxie (Deborah Shelton). Roxie is currently married to mobster and luxury brothel operator Tony Falcone (Miles O'Keeffe). When Jack locates Roxie, she manipulates him into a scheme to eliminate both her abusive husband and her obsessive ex-lover to claim a massive insurance payout. As Jack and Roxie initiate a passionate affair, a web of double-crosses and covert motives unfolds.
