Singapore Sling (1990) follows a deeply depressed, injured private investigator tracking his lost love, Laura. His search leads him to a secluded, decaying estate inhabited by a severely unhinged mother and daughter. Trapped in their isolated world, the detective is stripped of his identity, christened "Singapore Sling," and held prisoner. He quickly uncovers the house's horrifying reality: the women are a murderous, codependent pair bound by intense incestuous impulses and the haunting legacy of a sadistic, dead patriarch. As the boundaries of film noir and psychological horror blur, the detective is forced to participate in a series of shocking, transgressive BDSM rituals, necrophilic roleplay, and torturous games that inevitably spiral into madness, betrayal, and bloodshed.
