Bárbara (Francisca Lewin) and Guille (Mario Horton) are a deeply passionate, committed couple planning to start a family together. However, a severe mountain climbing accident leaves Guille with permanent brain damage, robbing him of his intellect, humor, and former personality. Unable to maintain a sexual or romantic connection with the transformed Guille, Bárbara finds herself drifting emotionally. Seeking stability, she becomes involved with Lalo (Cristián Jiménez), a older, reliable landscape designer who offers financial security and peacefulness without the intense passion she once shared with Guille. As Bárbara struggles to adjust to her new life, lingering devotion and guilt over Guille challenge her relationship with Lalo.
