On the eve of moving to Denmark with his wife Lúcia (Rita Durão) and their young daughter for a new job in wind energy, David (Filipe Cary) travels back to his native village in northern Portugal to attend his grandfather's funeral. There, he reconnects with his estranged family and falls under the spell of his cousin Gui's (Ricardo Aibéo) emotionally erratic wife, Ana (Beatriz Batarda). Drawn back into his family roots and mesmerized by Ana's wild spontaneity, David delays his departure. When the trip concludes, Ana unexpectedly follows David and Lúcia to Denmark, sparking complex emotional tension and a secret affair as David remains torn between his stable family life and his desire for Ana.
