Piso Porta is a 2000 Greek coming-of-age drama set in Athens in 1966, in which 13-year-old Dimitris suddenly loses his father and is thrust into the role of man of the house, watching helplessly as his fragile mother moves on with a new man who turns out to be a rising figure in Greece's brutal military dictatorship — and as Dimitris navigates his own awakening sexuality, friendships, and visits to a local prostitute, his growing rage against his mother's new partner slowly pulls him into a dangerous collision with political forces far bigger than himself.
