Pecados de una Profesora is a 2008 Mexican drama directed by Rodrigo Vidal in which recently widowed professor Mayra, carrying years of bitterness and loneliness, falls for a charming younger man named Abel — only to discover that he is one of her own students. What began as an emotional refuge quickly turns into a full-blown scandal when Abel's jealous ex-girlfriend discovers the affair and does everything in her power to destroy the relationship and humiliate Mayra.
