Set within a massive, claustrophobic apartment complex in Rio de Janeiro, the story kicks off when two teenagers, Marcinho and Rogério, get into a violent fight on the building's soccer court. What should have been a minor neighborhood dispute spirals into an all-out war between their families. As the boys' parents—Cibele and Amâncio vs. Wando and Mila—fail to find common ground, they turn to extreme measures, including illegal weapons and the help of Sérgio, a corrupt former cop living in the building. The series explores how a lack of empathy and the pressure of urban life can turn ordinary people into monsters.
