Thomas (Kostas Koronaios) is a 50-year-old night-shift taxi driver living in Athens with his wife, Maria (Marisha Triantafyllidou), and their teenage son, Tassos. Though he holds a degree in literature, he feels trapped by unfulfilled potential and the monotony of his everyday domestic life. When one of his passengers commits suicide, Thomas becomes deeply unsettled. He tracks down the deceased client's estranged young daughter, Eleni (Klelia Andriolatou). Seeing her as an escape from his deadened existence, Thomas develops an overwhelming erotic and romantic obsession with her, crossing boundaries to insert himself into her life.
