When prominent executive Ricardo (Guilherme Fontes) is found dead from a gunshot wound in his car at a Rio de Janeiro parking lot—with a firearm and his belongings left intact—the case is handed to the analytical Inspector Espinosa (Lázaro Ramos) and his sharp partner Daia (Thalita Carauta). What initially appears to be a straightforward suicide quickly unravels into a complex murder investigation when individuals linked to Ricardo begin dying mysteriously under identical rainy conditions. As Espinosa digs into Ricardo's personal life, he exposes a web of corporate embezzlement, blackmail, and sexual betrayals involving Ricardo's widow Bia (Mayana Neiva), her younger lover Kiko (Pedro Nercessian), and high-ranking business figures, forcing the investigators to confront corruption at every level.
