Roberto (Rodrigo Bolzan) is an engineer working long, grueling shifts on an offshore oil rig in the Atlantic Ocean, isolated from land for weeks at a time. The physical distance takes a toll on his marriage to Cris (Maria Luísa Mendonça), which has deteriorated into emotional fatigue and unspoken resentment. While on the rig, Roberto maintains a intense extramarital affair with Lara (Simone Iliescu), a fellow oil rig worker. When a corporate restructuring opens up a coveted executive promotion, Roberto finds himself pitted against his close friend and long-time colleague, Wagner (Roberto Alencar). As corporate rivalry, offshore isolation, and his double life converge, Roberto's moral choices begin to unravel his mental stability and destroy his relationships both on land and at sea.
