The collective insomnia and shared visions plunge the community into a state of paranoia and spiritual unrest. When a mysterious, wandering stranger named Luar (Bertrand Duarte) arrives in town, he acts as a catalyst, uncovering buried secrets, repressed desires, and hypocrisies among the villagers as they try to decipher the source of their sleepless torment.
