Non Castus is a 2016 Chilean short film directed by Andrea Castillo, in which Trinidad, a 42-year-old mother, and her 21-year-old son Camilo are forced to rent a single room together in a house in southern Chile after their father abandons the family. Isolated in that small space, surrounded by loneliness and nature, their relationship slowly transforms — what begins as the closeness of a mother and son united by shared guilt and grief crosses into something far more disturbing, as Trinidad realizes her feelings for Camilo are no longer purely maternal and the two are consumed by an incestuous desire that neither of them can resist.
