Níobe is a 2023 Brazilian political thriller directed by Fernando Mamari in which Rita and a group of six other luxury call girls are hired by powerful businessman John to entertain the guests of a secret one-night meeting — attended by the country's president, his general, and an opposition deputy whose vote is needed to approve illegal mineral exploitation in indigenous territory. Among the powerful men present is one whose wife is cheating on him back home, adding a layer of personal betrayal to the political corruption already consuming the room. When the plan spirals completely out of control and alliances collapse, the seven women who were supposed to be invisible end up holding the entire future of the country in their hands.
