Martyna (Agnieszka Grochowska) lives in a luxurious home with her husband Wojciech (Paweł Małaszyński), a local politician and businessman. Behind this opulent facade, Wojciech is a violent controller who physically and psychologically abuses her—a secret known only to Wojciech's estranged father, Stefan (Andrzej Seweryn). Meanwhile, Martyna's friend Alicja (Magdalena Cielecka) is a single mother obsessed with controlling her 20-year-old son, Daniel (Dawid Ptak). When Daniel becomes involved with Adelina (Julia Wieniawa)—a young woman struggling to support her sick mother—a web of secrets, hidden affairs, jealousies, and retaliatory motives collides, leading to a fatal tragedy.
