Nick (Nicklas Søderberg Lundstrøm), a 23-year-old biology student in Aarhus, suffers from deep existential despair and becomes convinced that he is inherently evil. Driven by self-loathing, he goes to his university armed with a hidden handgun intending to commit a mass shooting. However, before he can carry out his plan, his target classmates unexpectedly die in a drowning accident at sea. Unable to carry out the act yet unable to escape his inner rage, Nick spends 24 chaotic hours wandering the city as those around him mistakenly interpret his hostility and erratic behavior as grief.
