Eight-year-old Erik (Sem Roeters) is playing on a seesaw with his friend Sofie (Frederieke Pijl) when his mother (Marike van Weelden) takes him along for his first visit to a public sauna. Initially overwhelmed and uncomfortable by the unfamiliar environment full of undressed adults, Erik observes the varied human bodies around him. Through this candid, eye-opening experience, he begins to process body awareness, sexual curiosity, and growing up.
