In a futuristic dystopian Havana set in 2027, Hast Du (Alexis Díaz de Villegas), a man released from prison, suffers deep depression over the death of his girlfriend and decides to end his life. He is approached by Mofo (Waldo Franco), a sinister TV host dressed as a clown. Mofo offers him a deal for a spectacular television death: Hast Du must find a woman and engage in sex; at the exact moment of climax, a deadly creature (the "Sumatran Harryhausen") will strike and kill him instantly on camera.
