Love is a 2015 French-Belgian erotic drama film that follows Murphy, an American film student living in Paris, who wakes up on a rainy morning to a frantic phone call from the mother of his missing ex-girlfriend, Electra. Trapped in a bleak, loveless relationship with his partner Omi and their toddler son, Murphy spends the day consuming drugs and sinking into a deep pool of regret as he recalls his intense, two-year romance with Electra through fragmented, non-linear flashbacks.
