Eduardo (Simón Andreu), a wealthy, respected executive living a closeted life in Francoist/transitional Spain, falls deeply in love with Miguel (Tony Fuentes), a young working-class street athlete. While Eduardo attempts to win Miguel over with money, gifts, and status, Miguel remains largely interested in women and engaged in a relationship with his girlfriend, Carmen (Carmen Platero). As Eduardo's obsession deepens, societal homophobia, class divides, and blackmail threaten to expose his hidden life and destroy both men.
