Florencia (Violeta Castillo) is a 17-year-old girl living in Santiago who is left alone to care for her older brother, who remains in a persistent vegetative state ("plant-like") following an accident. Isolation, emotional strain, and nascent sexuality lead her to explore a fantasy comic book titled Las Plantas, which depicts plants taking control of human minds. Seeking human connection and financial relief, Florencia begins organizing secretive, anonymous encounters with strangers via the internet inside her home, blending fantasy, caretaking, and adolescent discovery.
