Las Edades de Lulú is a 1990 Spanish erotic drama directed by Bigas Luna in which fifteen-year-old Lulú loses her virginity to Pablo, her older brother Marcelo's best friend, and eventually marries him — but grows increasingly bored and suffocated by their sheltered married life. Craving danger and excitement, Lulú spirals into Madrid's underground sex scene, exploring gay bars, threesomes, and sadomasochism. The film reaches its darkest point when Pablo blindfolds Lulú during a threesome and she later discovers she unknowingly had sex with her own brother Marcelo — a revelation that destroys her marriage and sends her deeper into a self-destructive descent until Pablo is forced to pull her back from the brink.
