Las Corrientes is a 2025 Swiss-Argentine psychological drama directed by Milagros Mumenthaler in which Lina, a celebrated 34-year-old fashion designer at the peak of her career, impulsively jumps from a bridge into the icy waters of the Rhône river during an awards gala in Switzerland — and is miraculously saved by the current. Back in Buenos Aires with her husband Pedro and their five-year-old daughter Sofía, she tells nobody what happened — but the experience has changed her completely, leaving her distant, disconnected and haunted, as the dark secrets from her past begin resurfacing and threatening to destroy the life she has carefully constructed around herself.
