Hanna (Cecilie Lassen) lives in a secluded, New Age Christian commune on the West Coast of Jutland, Denmark. Seeking to heal past trauma and longing to have a child, she participates in the community's unconventional rituals, which include communal sexual encounters with men from the collective to achieve pregnancy, as well as therapeutic role-playing reenactments. Her structured, isolated existence is upended when her younger brother, Jakob (Jonas Holst Schmidt), unexpectedly arrives intent on taking her home. Jakob's presence disrupts the commune and forces both siblings to confront buried childhood memories and the true nature of their deeply complex, boundary-crossing bond.
