Set during the final year of the Communist regime in Prague, three hedonistic young men—Pepe (Tomáš Hanák), Dědek (Milan Šteindler), and Franta (David Vávra)—spend their time drinking, chasing women, and playing cynical pranks on society. Their carefree, irresponsible lifestyle is shattered when one of the friends contracts HIV, forcing the group to confront their mortality, the consequences of their indiscriminate sexual encounters, and the collapsing world around them.
