Following the death of his father in the Greek provinces, Nikos (Stathis Stamoulakatos) relocates to an isolated suburb of Athens to work for his domineering, brutish uncle Alekos (Vangelis Mourikis). Nikos is hired to guard his uncle's aggressive purebred dogs in exchange for food and housing. Trapped in a bleak, monotonous routine, Nikos begins an intense, secret affair with Alekos's wife, his aunt Gogo (Maria Kallimani). As their hidden relationship deepens, the dynamic between the three devolves into severe psychological tension, hostility, and violence.
