Köksüz is a 2013 Turkish drama directed by Deniz Akçay in which a family of four — mother Nurcan and her three children — slowly destroy each other after the sudden death of their father. Eldest daughter Feride is forced to become the family breadwinner while desperately trying to escape through marriage. The youngest daughter Özge is completely ignored by everyone. And 17-year-old Ilker, rebellious and reckless, moves in with his classmate Halil — and begins a sexual affair with Halil's own mother, sleeping with her repeatedly behind her son's back.
