Josépha is a 1982 French drama directed by Christopher Frank in which Michel and Josépha — two struggling actors scraping by in small Parisian theaters — have their already fragile relationship shattered when Josépha discovers Michel has been having a long affair with a press attaché behind her back. In revenge, she leaves him and begins her own passionate affair with Régis, a wealthy horse breeder she meets on a film set in Vittel — creating a painful love triangle between the two men as Michel, still in love with Josépha, refuses to let go while she tries to rebuild her life in the comfort of Régis's lavish estate.
