Directed by Isao Yukisada, this moody Japanese erotic drama was produced as part of Nikkatsu's Roman Porno Reboot Project. The story follows Shinji Furutani, a once-celebrated indie filmmaker trapped in a severe creative and midlife crisis. Depressed and unable to make high-art films anymore, he reduces himself to directing low-budget adult videos to survive. Over the course of one strange week, his lead actress walks off the set, prompting him to wander aimlessly through Tokyo, drifting into a series of casual, emotionally hollow sexual encounters with various vulnerable women who take pity on him.
