Set in a decaying hotel on the island of Tenerife, Amalia (Ana Belén), an elderly woman harboring a dark terminal diagnosis, decides to spend her remaining time in total isolation. Her quiet solitude is disrupted when she meets Toni (Manu Vega), a troubled young man working at the hotel who is fleeing his own troubled past. Despite the stark difference in their ages and backgrounds, an intense, unconventional emotional and romantic bond develops between them, forcing both to confront their deepest fears before time runs out.
