Luisa (Victoria Abril) lives a comfortable middle-class life in Santander with her husband Ramiro (Antonio Valero) and their two children. One day, Luisa spots her ex-husband and childhood friend Ángel (Imanol Arias) living in absolute destitution on the streets after years of absence. Moved by compassion and unresolved passion, Luisa brings the terminally ill Ángel into her family home to care for him. As Ángel’s health deteriorates, Luisa finds herself intensely torn between both men. Her obsession with possessing both of her former childhood sweethearts triggers a claustrophobic, deadly love triangle within the marital household.
