During a tense family dinner, siblings confront their widowed father, Victor (Adrian Titieni)—an obstetrician—after learning he denounced women who sought illegal abortions during Romania's communist regime. The argument fractures the household, causing Victor to temporarily leave. In his absence, a deeper secret within the family comes to light: twin siblings Sasha (Alina Grigore) and Romeo (Robi Urs) are engaged in a long-standing incestuous sexual relationship. When Sasha becomes pregnant with her twin brother's child, the family is forced to grapple with heavy moral dilemmas surrounding abortion, hypocrisy, and biological taboo.
