Dante (Cauã Reymond) is a dedicated oil rig production manager on the off-shore platform P-137, balancing high-stress maritime operations with a volatile personal life on land. Expecting a promotion to platform director, Dante is passed over in favor of Júlia Brava (Maria Casadevall), a fiercely capable engineer. Simultaneously, Dante's home life shatters when he discovers that his wife, Leona (Sophie Charlotte), is engaged in a passionate affair with his own brother, Bruno (Klebber Toledo). A violent confrontation between the brothers leaves Bruno in a coma, while Dante and Júlia gradually transition from tense workplace rivals to romantic partners amid rising dangers on the oil rig.
