I Zoi Pou Den Ezisa is a 1998 Greek drama series in which Tamila, a young Greek refugee woman from Odessa forced into marriage with a much older man at just sixteen years old, has spent her life trapped in a loveless and passionless union — until she falls deeply and unexpectedly in love with Christos, her own son's close friend, beginning a passionate secret affair that scandalizes everyone around her and forces her to choose between the safe but suffocating life she has always known and the love and freedom she has spent her whole life being denied.
