During her school graduation, 16-year-old equestrian Adena (Moa Kourmadias) discovers that her teacher, David (Alexej Manvelov), is spending Midsummer's Eve on the same island as her family. Harbouring an intense crush, Adena sneaks away from her family during the summer holiday to pursue him. She tracks David down at a gathering with his friends—all men twice her age—and persistently attempts to initiate a sexual encounter with him. David, visibly uncomfortable and deeply unsettled by her aggressive advances, is forced to navigate the boundary between his role as an adult authority figure and Adena's boundary-pushing teenage provocation.
