Bored with his dull marital life and corporate routine, executive Andrés Uriarte (Carlos Hipólito) falls under the spell of Isabel (Cayetana Guillén Cuervo), a manipulative femme fatale sales clerk. Unbeknownst to Andrés, Isabel is involved in a tumultuous relationship with Paco (Nancho Novo), a violent inmate and petty criminal. Isabel seduces Andrés and exploits his marital disaffection to orchestrate a criminal plot: kidnapping Andrés's son, David, so Andrés's wealthy father-in-law will pay a lucrative ransom. As Andrés plunges into the extramarital affair, he is systematically double-crossed, caught between his betrayed family and Isabel's dangerous manipulation.
