Two long-time Polish couples set off on their annual camping holiday on the Danish island of Bornholm with their young children. Maja (Agnieszka Grochowska) and Hubert (Maciej Stuhr) are enduring a stale, emotionally distant marriage. Dawid (Grzegorz Damięcki), Hubert's friend, arrives with his much younger new girlfriend, Nina (Jaśmina Polak). When an unsettling incident occurs between the children, the adults' polite facade crumbles. The strain triggers a midlife breakdown for Maja, leading to an eruption of suppressed sexual frustration, relationship conflicts, and secret emotional betrayals over the course of the trip.
