Far from It is a 2024 French-Lebanese short film directed by Mario Ghabali in which Gabriel, a young man who has fled his privileged but suffocating life, ends up stranded and desperate in a remote village — reduced to stealing canned food to survive. His clumsy theft is interrupted by Ward, a charming and warm older Lebanese woman who takes pity on him and offers him shelter, and what begins as an act of simple generosity slowly evolves into an unexpectedly intimate connection between the two.
