Silmara (Rosanne Mulholland), a young working-class factory worker in ABC Paulista, lives a modest life maintaining an optimistic facade despite harsh daily realities. She supports her father, Antero (Léo Áquilla), a former burn victim and worker, while navigating her relationships with fellow working-class friends, including Briducha (Djin Sganzerla) and Valdemara (Suzana Alves). Silmara seeks escape through popular music and night shows, eventually meeting her pop music idols, Bruno de André (Cauã Reymond) and Luís Ronaldo (Maurício Mattar). However, behind the glamour of these encounters, she confronts superficiality, class barriers, and emotional disillusionment.
