After celebrating a successful business deal, 40-year-old Miro (Živko Anočić) is persuaded by his associates to spend the night in a luxury hotel room with a young escort named Lara (Lena Medar). What begins as a single, hesitant lapse in his marital fidelity turns into a nightmare when Miro wakes up to find Lara dead in the bathroom. Desperate to protect his reputation, marriage, and respectable life, Miro accepts the help of two hotel employees (Nikša Butijer and Paško Vukasović) to cover up the death. However, his initial relief quickly vanishes as the duo uses their knowledge of the incident to relentlessly blackmail him, dragging Miro into a spiral of underworld crime, extortion, and moral collapse.
