The series follows Bárbara, a successful lawyer who travels to a massive family estate to meet the family of her fiancé, Álvaro. Things go south immediately when she meets Álvaro's son, Iker. Instead of a normal family introduction, Bárbara and Iker start a secret, intense affair behind the father’s back. While they try to hide their relationship, the situation gets even darker as Bárbara starts uncovering secrets about what really happened to Álvaro’s first wife, who disappeared years ago.
